My inspiration

To start thinking on a topic, I was lost, but then I discovered Andy Goldsworthy' work. He is a British sculptor, photographer and environmentalist that produces sculptures in site, which are often in nature or urban environments. Although he is known for being a sculptor, photography is a key part on his artwork and he states it in this fragment: "Each work grows, stays, decays – integral parts of a cycle which the photograph shows at its heights, marking the moment when the work is most alive. There is an intensity about a work at its peak that I hope is expressed in the image. Process and decay are implicit." This statement stayed in my mind because I think that moments of beauty must be photographed, as I did in my 2D artwork, because we can conserve its beauty for a longer period of time although it is not as beautiful as it is in person.

The following sculpture really inspired me to do my 3D artwork, because I was sure I wanted to use branches, but I did not see the possibilities this material has util I saw this picture.
This inspired me to go beyond what we can see and look at it in a different perspective and more profoundly.
